Wheelchair Built For An Injured Turtle

An 18-year-old injured male Eastern Box Turtle, who suffered from a cracked shell, was captured and learnt to walk by a customised

wheelchair made from Lego bricks at Maryland Zoo. Staffs at the zoo found the turtle in the middle of a road and took it to the veterinary clinic. The doctor diagnosed that the shell of the 18 years old turtle was crashed into seven pieces because of a crash. After a surgery on the turtle and stabilizing its shell, the veterinary team designing and building a small wheelchair made by Lego and attached it to the turtle.
