WHEN OUR LOVE STARTED
It was like the relief I had been searching for,
Like a jewel who came looking for me from the future,
At once, all the bleak of the past years were forgotten,
As I found myself in a true love that I had only shared with my kin.
I had shed countless tears so many times,
Waiting for the right woman to find me and erase the memories of the hurtful time,
Now, I smile everyday just seeing you beside me,
It's like being blown by the gentle breeze into the warm sea.
I found myself loss for words,
Couldn't found adjectives to describe my happiness,
Suddenly, from a sojourn of gloomy days,
I had turned into a man with so many beautiful memories.
I woke up at night reminiscing on the time spent together,
Cherishing and savouring every meal we ate together,
And by day, I spend most times looking into your eyes,
Appreciating and loving each and every of your smiles.
It feels like the sad days never were,
Because with you, I felt nothing but bliss.
Like that between the moon and the stars.
